We Were Never Meant to Grieve Alone

We Were Never Meant to Grieve Alone

Grief work at the intersection of art, ritual and collective healing, emerging from the Grieving Fire Rituals - community ceremonies that reimagine our relationship with loss. Through poetic documentation, sonic collaboration and ceremonial performance, grief becomes creative material and cultural practice.

Ceremonial Trash

Ceremonial Trash2024

An installation, shown in the group exhibition On Bodies and Spirits, inviting participants to transform freshly found waste into temporary shrines. Fragments of paper, wax and fabric are gathered, rearranged and blessed through attention - noticing how decay can become offering.

Instructions for Boiling Time

Instructions for Boiling Time2025

A participatory ritual within Papillarya Kitchen Sessions, reimagining domestic space as exhibition. The kitchen became stage and altar: how to poach a dream without breaking it, how to preserve whispers in salt. Utensils became instruments, sound became spell.

Synthetic Synchronicities

Synthetic Synchronicities2021

A ten-month pedagogical lab within the School of Commons working with ritual, language and collective intuition - treating the unknown not as a problem to solve but as a living terrain for attunement.
