Portrait of Laura Cincera

I write, speak, facilitate and create spaces to explore visionary leadership, ecological wisdom and embodied presence. Born in Madrid, based in Zürich. My work lives where the strategic, the somatic and the sacred meet.

The professional path

Before founding my own projects, I spent nine years at Google EMEA, moving across Zürich, Dublin and London, and across functions that don't usually talk to each other: sales strategy, agency development, product marketing and program management inside Engineering. I managed portfolios of strategic agencies worth $25M per quarter, co-led a global leadership development program that reached more than 2,000 people, and facilitated innovation labs for organizations ranging from startups to NGOs. As part of Google's social impact initiative, my work focused on transforming education, making it free, accessible and relevant for emerging futures, a program that reached more than 13 million people across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Along the way I was named a Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe honoree and a World Economic Forum Global Shaper.

What I was actually doing underneath all of that: helping people and organizations close the distance between who they thought they were and what they were capable of. The titles changed. The thread didn't.

I left to build work that could hold the full range of what I know: the strategic, the somatic and the sacred. Today that work takes two main shapes. Paradox Praxis, my leadership consultancy at the intersection of embodied practice, organizational transformation and strategic facilitation. And The Museion, a community at the intersection of philosophy, poetics and contemplative practice.

Facilitation

Facilitation remains at the heart of what I do. From keynotes to intimate workshops, I design experiences that bring interactivity, precision and embodied warmth into the room, for organizations including the World Economic Forum, the United Nations, the OECD, the European Investment Bank and Google. You can see the formats I offer on the Speaking & Workshops page.

The therapeutic foundation

Underneath the facilitation are years of training in how change actually happens in a body. I am a certified Executive Coach and an IFS-certified practitioner of Internal Family Systems, with further training in Hakomi, Neurosomatic Trauma Integration and somatic leadership, and I am a qualified yoga and mindfulness teacher. This is the foundation of my conviction that sustainable change requires the body and the nervous system, not just the mind. It is the work beneath the work.

Artistic research

Alongside all of this runs my artistic research: an evolving archive of experiments across ritual, pedagogy, performance, photography and poetics, exploring complex questions experientially. You are warmly invited to wander it on the Artistic Research page.

I love discovering new places and will travel for the right invitation. Happiest watching shadows dance.
